Get more out of your data! Trendlog integrates seamlessly with other systems via the Trendlog CLOUD RestAPI. You can, for example, exchange data with other platforms or perform analysis in a Business Intelligence tool.
PLC
PLC function blocks are standardized programs that can be installed on the PLC and communicate externally. We offer integration for some of the most common PLC suppliers:
- Siemens
- Schneider Electric
- Beckhoff Automation
The function blocks communicate with Trendlog’s RestAPI and can take signals from the PLCs, sending them to the Trendlog Cloud. The advantage is that one can obtain a lot of data directly from the machine, but the disadvantage is that not all PLCs can SSL-encrypt data or have a data buffer in case of network problems, as Trendlog Collect does.

Node-RED
Node-RED is a flow-based programming tool developed by IBM for connecting hardware and APIs, primarily in IIoT.
The Trendlog Node can take signals from the equipment, and communicates with the Trendlog Cloud for the purpose of storing and visualizing the data. This means that Trendlog supports all the protocols developed for Node-RED, and they are numerous. Node-RED can be installed on computers and embedded devices/systems, including Trendlog Collect, allowing us to receive data from any devices capable of running Node-RED.

OPC UA
OPC is a secure communication platform for exchanging data within the industrial and automation sectors. OPC UA is a protocol often referred to as the universal language for machines, enabling the collection and exchange of data to an API that can redistribute the data for visualization.
Trendlog Collect supports communication using the OPC UA protocol through Node-RED and the developed Trendlog Node.
